Members: The group consists of over 38 master trainers, including healthcare professionals, researchers, and academics who are dedicated to advancing evidence-based healthcare and over 500 trained health care professionals across the country. Cochrane Pakistan has a dynamic and diverse group of professionals, all united in their commitment to advancing evidence-based healthcare across the region. These individuals work collaboratively across multiple domains, ranging from conducting workshops to the development of systematic reviews and GRADE guidelines. 

Director: Prof. Dr. Sohail Sabir is the esteemed Director of Cochrane Pakistan, a distinguished Professor of Nephrology, and a respected council member of the prestigious College of Physicians and Surgeons (CPSP) Pakistan. He holds a Fellowship in Medicine and Nephrology, is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (London and Edinburgh) along with a recipient of a Master’s degree in Health Professions Education. Prof Dr. Sohail exemplifies a rare blend of clinical expertise and academic excellence. He has dedicated his career to advancing research and evidence-based systematic reviews. Dr. Sohail has authored over 40 internationally recognized peer-reviewed publications, contributing significantly to the global medical community. His visionary leadership and profound expertise have been pivotal in steering Cochrane Pakistan towards its mission of promoting evidence-based healthcare and enhancing the quality of healthcare in Pakistan.
