
NUMS organizes workshop on Cochrane Systematic Review & Meta-Analysis for the faculty of King Edward Medical University
National University of Medical Sciences successfully conducted a two-day "Cochrane Systematic Review & Meta-Analysis" workshop for the faculty members on May 9th - 10th, 2025, at King Edward Medical University, Lahore. This dynamic workshop empowered academicians and healthcare professionals with cutting-edge skills in systematic reviews and meta-analyses. Through immersive, expert-led sessions, participants mastered essential research methodologies, equipping them to drive forward evidence-based medical innovation in Pakistan.
This training workshop was conducted during a period when Pakistan was actively engaged in conflict on its Eastern border. Despite the challenging circumstances, participants showed remarkable enthusiasm to acquire new knowledge and continually enhance their professional competence. This also demonstrates the high level of motivation and dedication to the cause among the facilitators of this workshop.
