Master Trainer's Workshop of Cochrane Systematic Review & Meta-Analysis

The National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) successfully conducted a one-day workshop titled "Master Trainer's Workshop of Cochrane Systematic Review & Meta-Analysis" on July 19, 2025, at College of Physicians & Surgeons of Pakistan Hall, PEMH. The esteemed faculty member's of NUST School of Health Sciences(NSHS), Health Services Academy(HSA), Army Medical College(AMC), Armed Forces Postgraduate Medical Institute  and Foundation Medical University(AFPGMI) participated. This workshop aimed to strengthen the research expertise of academicians, healthcare professionals, and postgraduate trainees by providing hands-on training in Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis. 

Positive Impact and Participant Feedback

The workshop was met with enthusiastic participation from medical researchers, faculty members, postgraduate students, and professionals from various healthcare institutions. Attendees highly valued the practical nature of the sessions and the expertise of the facilitators. 

Strengthening Evidence-Based Research in Pakistan

Cochrane Pakistan remains dedicated to advancing evidence-based research through such academic initiatives. Moving forward, we plan to conduct more workshops and training programs to further develop the research proficiency of medical and healthcare professionals.
